Have you ever desired to create your own, unique Christmas cards?  Mechanicsburg’s Friends of the Library will be hosting a Christmas greeting card make it-take it workshop on Saturday, August 19th from 11:00-12:30 in the library meeting room.  Each participant will produce a set of 5 cards with all necessary materials included.

Betsy Woodruff from One Blank Canvas of Bellefontaine will provide instruction and demonstrate each step in the card-making process.  Participants should be dressed appropriately for painting.

Library archive photos of Tommy Thompson, Wallace McCoy, Charles Anderson, Woody Zimmerman, Jim Mahoy, Robert Reed, Karen Williams Brewer and many other new contributions are included in a slideshow presentation honoring local veterans from the Civil War to the present.
